Aosom is a leader in outdoor equipment, home goods, pet supplies and more. We are currently seeking an outstanding General Manager Assistant that is bilingual in Mandarin and English. This individual will work directly with the General Manager to further develop the department and add his/her vision to infrastructure and projects.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Assist General Manager in projects, tasks and coordination to support attainment of company yearly, quarterly and monthly goals
  • Coordinate tasks/projects with HQ in China
  • Manage projects as assigned, which may require coordination/collaboration with different departments.
  • Participate and take minutes in meetings capturing key points and action items then disseminating appropriately. Also track and follow-up on deadlines.
  • Read and analyze incoming e-mails, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
  • Consistent attendance in compliance of the Aosom Attendance Policy and for the expected performance level of the above duties.

Job requirements:

  1. Read, write, and speak fluent English and Mandarin - MUST HAVE
  2. Proven ability to drive projects and tasks through to completion with little guidance
  3. Impeccable ability to keep information confidential
  4. Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and customer service skills
  5. Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to analyze information quickly
  6. Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills to contribute and shape a positive dynamic culture in the department and company.
  8. Ability to relate and communicate well with all levels of employees from co-workers to management
  9. Accurate keyboarding skills at a minimum of 50 wpm
  10. Ability to perform advanced math skills

 

education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in above Essential Duties preferred, willing to train the right candidate
  3. ERP System Experience or relational database experience is helpful, especially work with Oracle.
  4. Proficient with computers and internet
    1. Advanced knowledge/experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook/Google Calendar, Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets
    2. MS Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox
