Our business is projected to grow 35% year over year.  Currently, our growth is outpacing our projections.  

The Product Coordinator will have ownership and accountability for the business results of their product subcategories. The individual is responsible for optimizing the asset performance of the products in Aosom’s retail product portfolio.

What you will do:
  • Ensures optimal customer experience by collecting and analyzing information on product performance, customer motivation on returns and negative reviews, trends in product performance, product packaging failures, cost effective packaging,
  • Coordinates with Product Supervisor to develop, review, update and implement business strategic planning to ensure optimal performance levels of new product identification & viability, expansion of current product lines, product legal compliance, identification & improvement of product quality issues, coordination of product launches, product catalog quality, inventory quantity sufficient to meet company sales goals, inventory turn, margins and other product team operating functions.   
  • Communicates and coordinates inter-department operations with US teams and company headquarters (HQ) to ensure team performance and issues with product team operations are resolved quickly. 
  • Creates and reviews analyses of product activities, forecasts, costs, and operations. Conducts research to determine department progress and needed actions toward stated goals and objectives. Coordinates timely action with relevant department or manager.  
  • May be expected to travel via automobile, train or aircraft domestically.  Travel may be up to 2 times a year; duration may from 2 days up to 4 days.

  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word). 
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries, influence others, gain trust by using strong communication skills verbally and written. 
  • Technical aptitude and agility to use web-based tools. 
  • Ability to track and record progress using company standardized process 
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail  
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success  
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail  
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving results

What education & professional experience you will bring:
  • 4-year college degree from an accredited university in business/marketing or related field of study; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 1 year of work experience that demonstrates an aptitude to successfully perform the job duties, with a preference in the ecommerce industry. 
  • eCommerce experience coordinating with channel partners such as Amazon, Seller Central, Overstock, Wayfair is preferred..
